Hi Everyone,
The moment I saw the sneak peek of Concord & 9th’s Fine Line Florals stamp set I knew I had to have it. This set is spectacular and I love how you can either color in the images or use the coordinating solid stamps to add quick color to the flowers. There are also a lot of great sentiments in this set – I can’t recommend it enough!
Image
To start I stamped the main floral image onto the bottom of a piece of Neenah Solar White, 80 lb, cardstock with Lawn Fawn’s Storm Cloud ink. I then used three Lawn Fawn ink colors: Grape Soda, Sunflower, and Wild Rose to add color to the flowers. I love that the “solid” stamps are actually lined instead of solid which gives the flowers a bit of added interest and texture.
Sentiment
While this stamp set has a lot of lovely sentiments I wanted something more delicate for this card so I used a sentiment from the Concord & 9th’s Grateful for Everything stamp set. I stamped the sentiment in the same Lawn Fawn Storm Cloud ink – I love how it came out!
Finishing Touches
I adhered the design panel to a card base made out of Lawn Fawn’s Fog cardstock and then used my Sakura Black Glaze pen to add dimension to the center of the flowers.
I hope you enjoyed this clean and simple card. Thanks for stopping by!
