Hi Everyone,
I love critter stamps and absolutely adore Mama Elephant’s Stackable Cuties stamp set! I love that you get so many cute little critters and you have the option to use them stacked or unstacked – I think that flexibility is fantastic and it really makes this stamp set a must have IMHO.
Images and Background
For this card, I decided to use only 3 of the 10 adorable images. I selected the super cute elephant, hippo, and monkey images – I just love that the monkey is holding a banana in its tail! I started by stamping the images all over a piece of Bristol Smooth cardstock using Ink on 3’s Blackout Detail Ink. Next, I colored the critters using a combination of Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and Arteza Real Brush Pens (I used two shades of gray, two shades of brown, a pink, and a yellow).
Sentiment
For my sentiments I used Simon Says Stamp’s Message for Everyday stamp set for “Happy Birthday” and for “Go Wild!” I used Neat and Tangled’s Wild Ones stamp set. I stamped the sentiments onto green cardstock from my stash and heat embossed them using Ranger’s Super Fine Detail White Embossing Powder.
Assembly
Using MFT’s Wonky Stitched Rectangle Stax Die-namics I die cut the design panel and adhered it directly to my cardbase made out of Lawn Fawn’s Noble Fir cardstock. I popped up both sentiments using foam tape and adhered them over the design panel. For a finishing touch, I used a Sakura Black Glaze Pen to add dimension to the critter’s eyes.
I hope you enjoyed today’s card! Thanks for stopping by!
