Hi Everyone,
The super sweet MFT’s Fall Friends stamp set is beyond adorable! All the images are so cute but I love the little squirrels best of all.
Images
Per usual, I couldn’t decide what images to use so I stamped all of them onto Neenah Solar White, 110 lb, cardstock using MFT’s Extreme Black Ink and colored them with Copic markers. I popped up the sweet little girl, leaves, squirrel poking out from behind the pumpkin, and two of the pumpkins to add dimension and interest to the card.
Sky Background
To create a fall sunset sky I blended Fossilized Amber, Spiced Marmalade, and Ripe Persimmon Distress Oxide inks onto a piece of Bristol Smooth cardstock. I love the warm feeling this added to the card.
Background Die
To create the scene I used Hello Bluebird’s Spooky Scene die and ink blended Brushed Corduroy and Gathered Twigs Distress Oxide inks onto the trees. Next, I blended Peeled Paint and Forest Moss Distress Oxide inks onto the grass. For the tree leaves, I used Lawn Fawn’s Puffy Cloud Borders dies to cut yellow and brown cardstock from my stash and then popped up the brown leaves to give the scene a bit more dimension. I think the leaves add the perfect fall touch!
Finishing Touches
I finished the card by adding Spectrum Noir Crystal Clear Sparkle to the girl’s scarf and Nuvo’s Midas Touch Aqua Shimmer to the leaves on the ground and the yellow leaves on the trees. I also went over all the characters eyes with a black Sakura Gelly Roll pen. Lastly, I added a few of Pretty Pink Posh’s Marigold Jewels around the card for a bit more shine.
Thank you for stopping by and spending a little time with me today!
