Hi Everyone,
Last year when Neat & Tangled’s Oh Deer stamp set came out I knew I had to snatch it up. I just love these sweet little deer images so much! Spoiler alert, you’ll actually be seeing a few cards I made with images from this stamp set this season – it is just too cute not to use!
Image and Background
I stamped the sweet little deer onto Neenah Solar White, 110 lb, cardstock using MFT’s Extreme Black Ink and colored her with Copic markers.
Next, I stamped MFT’s All Lined Up Background stamp onto a piece of MFT’s Kraft cardstock with Lawn Fawn’s Pizza Crust ink. I love this subtle but lovely tone on tone background.
Dies
I die cut the woodgrain frame out of Lawn Fawn’s Paper Bag cardstock using one of the dies from Hero Arts’ Wood Frame Infinity Dies and then inked the edge with Lawn Fawn’s Walnut ink. I also die cut a few trees using Lawn Fawn’s Birch Trees dies and inked the edges lightly with Iced Spruce Distress Oxide Ink to add a bit of dimension. Lastly, I used several shades of color cardstock from my stash to die cut leaves with Lawn Fawn’s Small Stitched Leaves dies.
With all the die cutting done I then popped up the woodgrain frame and the Birch trees with foam tape to add a bit of dimension to the card.
Sentiment
This fantastic sentiment is from Sunny Studio’s Beautiful Autumn stamp set and it’s one of my very favorite fall sentiments…so I might sneak it onto a card or two more. I stamped it onto MFT’s Primitive Cream cardstock using Lawn Fawn’s Pumpkin Spice ink – so bright and happy!
Finishing Touches
To add a few finishing touches I sprinkled the card with Pretty Pink Posh’s Metallic Rose Gold Jewels. I also made a shaker bit into a leaf “flower” – I think it’s so cute. Lastly, I went over the Birch trees with a Spectrum Noir Crystal Clear Sparkle pen to add a bit of shine.
I hope you’re enjoying a lovely week! Thanks for stopping by the blog today!
