Hi Everyone,
I love foiling – it’s so fun and easy! And I absolutely love my Spellbinders’ Glimmer Hot Foil System. Last year, I created a beautiful card with Spellbinder’s Radiant Flowers Glimmer Plates and Dies and just had to create another this year.
Images
To create the flowers and leaves I used the Radiant Flowers Glimmer Plates. For the flowers, I used Lawn Fawn’s Raspberry cardstock and foiled it with Spellbinders’ Magenta foil – such a beautiful pink color combination. To create the leaves, I used green cardstock from my stash and Spellbinders’ Gold foil. I adhered all but two flowers directly to the focal panel overlapping them to create interest.
Background
I created the background, using Lawn Fawn’s Blue Jay cardstock and a stencil from my stash. I inked blended through the stencil using Lawn Fawn’s Deep Sea ink and then went over the edges of the panel with more Deep Sea ink to deepen them. I love the beautiful dimension this gives to the card.
Sentiment
For the sentiment, I die cut another piece of Lawn Fawn’s Blue Jay cardstock using Sunny Studio’s Hello Word die. I love this tone on tone sentiment and to add just a bit more sparkle I went over it with Nuvo’s Midas Touch Aqua Shimmer pen.
Thanks for stopping by and spending a little time on my blog today!
