Hi All,
I absolutely loved Stampingbella’s Zodiac girl line – such beautiful images! I think what really makes them special is that many of the images could be used for other types of cards such as this image of Stampingbella’s Uptown Zodiac Girl Pisces which I used as a mermaid for this card.
Image
I stamped Stampingbella’s Uptown Zodiac Girl Pisces onto a piece of Bristol Smooth cardstock using Ink on 3’s Blackout Detail Ink and then embossed it with Hero Arts’ Ultra Fine Clear Embossing Powder. Next, I colored her with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers.
Stencil
I taped down Whimsy Stamps’ Mermaid Scales Stencil to a piece of Neenah Solar White, 110 lb, cardstock and applied a thin and uneven layer of Tonic Studio’s Nuvo Coral Calypso Embellishment Mousse. Wow, what a truly beautiful embellishment mousse!
Shaker Element
I’m completely in love with Studio Katia’s Seashell Shaker die and used it to cut a window into my card panel. Next, I cut a piece of rose gold folded paper with the die and carefully placed the shell outline on top of the shaker window.
For my shaker bits, I used several different embellishments from Honey Bee Stamps.
Sentiment
I used one of my favorite sentiment sets Avery Elle’s Loads of Wishes for this card. I white heat embossed it on to black cardstock – I love how bold and contrasting this is!
Thanks for stopping by and spending a little time with me today!
