Hi Everyone,
It’s no secret that I absolutely love Sunny Studio’d stamps so when I saw Sunny Studio’s Enchanted stamp set I just had to have it! This stamp set is so cute and you can create so many adorable scenes with it!
Images
I started by stamping some of the images from Sunny Studio’s Enchanted onto Neenah Solar White, 110 lb, cardstock with Ink on 3’s Blackout Ink and then colored them using Copic markers. After the coloring was complete I die cut the image with the coordinating dies and then went over the charters eyes with Sakura Black Glaze Pen to make them come to life.
Background
I wanted to create a magical background to match the adorable images so I pulled out Hello Bluebird’s Sunshine Scene Die and die cut a piece of Strathmore’s Bristol Smooth cardstock. Next, I used Distress Oxide inks in Mustard Seed, Fossilized Amber, and Wild Honey to color the sun and rays. I also very lightly ink blended the top of the clouds using Distress Oxide Tumbled Glass ink.
Once all the ink blending was done I adhered all the inked piece except for the bottom cloud directly to the card base. I popped up the bottom cloud using foam tape to give the card a bit more dimension.
Sentiment
For the sentiment, I combined several words from Sunny Studio’s Enchanted stamp set which I stamped using Pinkfresh Studio’s Detail Black ink and then I created an ellipsis using Memento’s Tuxedo Black Maker. Next, I die cut the sentiment with a die from Lawn Fawn’s Everyday Sentiment Banners and then lightly blended Distress Oxide Mustard Seed ink over it. On the inside of the card I stamped “In Shining Armor” which also came from Enchanted stamp set.
Finishing Touches
To add a bit more sparkle and shine to this magical card, I heavily coated the clouds with Spectrum Noir Sparkle pen. After that, I lightly covered the princess dress, hat, and the flags on the castle with Zig’s Wink Of Stella Clear Glitter Brush Marker. Finally, I went over the castle towers and the sword with Ranger’s Glossy Accents.
Thanks for stopping by and spending time with me today!
