Hi Everyone,
I absolutely love The Greetery – every release I’m blown away by the beautiful products. The most recent release celebrating their 1st Anniversary just stole my heart! I especially loved all the pinwheel products including the amazing The Greetery’s Pinwheel Party Stencil.
Images
I started by ink blending the pinwheels using the four main stencils in the Pinwheel Party Stencil set. These stencils are so smart, the first two create four of the pinwheels each stencil severing as a mask for the other so you can create a solid pinwheel by using two of them together. When you use all four stencils you create 9 pinwheels – it looks like so much work but it’s so easy!
Inks
To create the lovely colors for the pinwheels I pulled out The Stamp Market inks – if you haven’t used these inks yet they are AMAZING!! Some of my all time favorite inks! I paired the following colors together on the pinwheels: Blush Pink and Bubble Gum; Party Pink and Fresh Pink; and Coral Reef and Cherry Kisses.
Background Stamp
To create the fun confetti I used another stencil that came in the Pinwheel Party Stencil set to mask the pinwheels at the top of the card and then stamped The Greetery’s Ticker Tape Background stamp onto the design panel. I heat embossed the confetti with Lawn Fawn’s Gold embossing power to give the card an even more celebratory feel.
Sentiment
To tie in the lovely gold, I die cut “happy” from Tonic Studio’s Gold Pearl cardstock using Hello Bluebird’s Happy Birthday Words die set and then die cut “birthday” using the same die set out of Tonic Studio’s Pearlescent Pearl White cardstock. Next, I cut the sentiments again out of craft foam so I could pop them up.
I hope you enjoyed this quick and easy card. Thanks for stopping by!
